Another Ukitsu Fan-art, since I've not done one for a while.
The story behind this pic is the story behind Ukitsu's character. As Ikki Tousen was based on the Warring states (3 Kingdoms), she was based on Yu Ji (Or more formally known as Gan Ji).
Yu Ji was mentioned to be a Taoist, but it is referenced (including inside Battle Vixen vol.5) that he was thought of as a mage. Sun Ce (prince of what would be Wu) grew suspicious of his witchcraft and slain him. But they believe that Yu Ji came back as a spirit and got some revenge. Good for him!
Anyways, in summary, Ukitsu = Yu/Gan Ji = Taoist/mage.
Not my best work, but it was mainly just something fun to do. Hope you enjoy it!
